News from The Associated Press on Arizona SB 1070

Quote from today’s SCOTUS hearing on SB 1070…  “It seems to me that the federal government just doesn’t want to know who’s here illegally and who’s not,”  Even in the article the spin is that all Hispanics want open borders, a view which I do not believe.  If the Obama Administration loses Obamacare, and loses the battle against Arizona, let’s hope it is a series of losses that lead to a BIG LOSS for Obama in November.

  1. And whatever happened to our constitutional right to “be free in our persons and papers”. It’s not “driving while black” anymore- but driving while having hispanic heritage (as oh so many do in AZ)

    • How exactly does this violate anyone’s Constitutional rights? We have to show who we are for a wide variety of activities ranging from very serious to mundane. As for Arizona, a large number of those police, including Sheriff Joe, and many in state and local government, are Americans of hispanic descent. There is nothing racist about it.

  2. SCOTUS has been totally politicized on the left. If We, The People win this mess, they (the media minions, professors, teachers, marxist/commie politicians) will figure out how to make it appear as a “Partisan” decision, and the glassy eyed idiots will believe it, in spite of what our laws actually SAY. Constitution? “Phooey” says the left. It’s the most important political document ever written, but in their glassy eyes, they’ve been brainwashed in the schools to believe it is simply a “living document”, written by a bunch of knuckle-dragging neanderthols. It’s like trying to explain to a bunch of jacked up heroin addicts about the perils of doing heroin. All the while they’ve got the syringe in their arm, pushing the plunger for more. About the only thing that surprises me in this mess is that the UNIONS are actually supporting this trash. Aren’t they the one’s who are *supposed* to be concerned about working Americans? Phooey, says me.
