The 2nd Amendment is our defense against tyranny, and stands more necessary today than one may be comfortable to admit. As the forces of tyranny erode our liberty and trash our Constitution, who will stand to defend it? It was bought at great cost and tremendous sacrifice, and it isn’t ours to throw away. George Soros is financing the fight to give the United Nations control of your guns.
Through his Media Matters organization, Soros is dumping pro-UN gun control propaganda into the mainstream media to coincide with the United Nations Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty being held in New York July 2–27.
In a blog post published on July 3, Timothy Johnson of Media Matters describes the notion that the United Nations would ever try to take away the right of Americans to keep and bear arms “laughable.”
Johnson goes on to promote the passage of the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) as a means of “curtailing the illicit arms trade” and thus cracking down on those who use these weapons to deny others their “human rights.”
The blog post assures citizens concerned about the potential eradication of the rights guaranteed in the Second Amendment to the Constitution that they have nothing to fear from the UN’s gun control treaty.
Top officials from the United Nations, the United States, and other high profile supporters have repeatedly and clearly said that the treaty does not aim to restrict anyone’s “freedom to own” a gun. Indeed, the UN General Assembly’s resolution on the treaty makes clear that countries will “exclusively” maintain the right within their borders to “regulate internal transfers of arms and national ownership, including through national constitutional protections on private ownerships.”
Constitutionalists will instantly notice a couple of red flags raised by Media Matters’ word choice.

A population that is unable to defend itself is a conquered one.
I fully believe that is the intent. As much as I know prophecy says that certain things will take place, I don’t see anywhere that says we are suppose to roll over and make it easy for them. Could be now, could be a thousand years from now, but the call remains to stand on what is right.

There was article presented yesterday about “customary ” approval of law and treaty mechanisms. Well we are certainly about there with E.O.s ordering the disregard of U.S. law. Leader says now forget law…”it’s the right thing to do” It’s Sunday morning or I might be inclined to think a bad thought.
Still I don’t think treaty approval will be bypassed without according decision to the Constitution.
If so then there has been a coup dE’tat.

Now a Coup would be something! Actually I would wish for one should our govt bypass the Constitution again. The oath is to protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC, which includes the idiots who declare themselves kings.
