Just wanted to post a few thoughts on Iowa in brief…
Commentators claiming Iowa Too White?! Seems like we will never get past race. If Cain had won Iowa, would it still be too white? Iowa went strongly for Obama in the 2008 General Election, but let’s not let facts interfere with spin.
Ok, not saying anything happened, but does anyone else find Iowa results to be strange? Ron Paul polls way ahead of everyone else, but those in the GOP say no way. The votes are counted in secret, and Rick Santorum, who barely shows a pulse, almost wins, losing to Romney by 8 votes while Paul comes in 3rd?
Funny that even the Romney camp is saying things were not quite right in Iowa. His win does manage to gain the endorsement of John McCain, but is that really a benefit to have McCain’s seal of approval given his hands all over the NDAA?
As for Michele Bachmann, I think her poor showing has more to do with SNL being able to destroy her image than who she really is. To win the White House from the House is a long shot under the best of circumstances. She had some good things to offer, and I wish her all the best!
Media bias is pretty obvious, they call Americans Tea Baggers, which is a foul term no matter how you look at it. Are they going to start calling Pelosi and her crowd Ass Lickers? Not going to happen!
